Schedule

At Little Angels Preschool we are able to make God the focus of our classroom. We spend time each day learning about God’s love and how to pray to Him. Little Angels preschool is a warm, Christ-centered setting for a child’s first educational experience. You do not need to be Catholic to attend as we welcome children from all faiths.

We offer two programs to children of York and the surrounding communities. Both programs follow the St. Joseph School calendar except for the first and last days of school.

Preschool: 3 year old

Tuesday and Thursday

morning class meets 8:00 - 11:00
*afternoon class meets 12:15 to 3:15
enrollment in each class is limited to 12 children
tuition $120/month ($1,080/year)

Preschool: 4 and 5 year old

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

morning class meets 8:00 to 11:00
*afternoon class meets 12:15 to 3:15
enrollment in each class is limited to 15 children
tuition $145/month ($1,305/year)

*Afternoon sessions for both programs are contingent on having a sufficient number of students registered.

Curriculum

Through the variety of activities and lessons students will learn skills necessary to move on to kindergarten.

Zoo phonics

- Begins in the 3 year old program to help the children learn the beginning letter sounds.
- By the end of the 4 year old program students will be prepared to sound out words in kindergarten.

Circle Time

- Students are not only working on zoo animals and sounds, but working on kindergarten readiness skills.
- Sitting attentively for short periods of time.
- Active listening to stories.
- Participation in discussions.
- General turn taking skills also help them prepare for kindergarten.
